Jasmine Hogan, a senior here at Cardinal Newman, will sign a letter of intent committing to play Division I Softball later this week.  Her signing will take place on Thursday,  February 25th at 11:40 a.m. in the gym here on campus.

During her time at CN, Jasmine has lettered in softball, basketball, tennis, and volleyball.  She is a state champion in softball and volleyball, and two-time state champion in basketball.  She has been selected for SCISA Softball All-state, All Metro and All-region every year since the 8th grade, and was named the 2018 Pitcher of the Year.

Jasmine was also one of 90 players from across the country selected in the USA Softball Elite Invitational Breakthrough Series three times, where she was a spokesperson for the MLB Jackie Robinson Day Celebration, airing on MLB Network.

Off the field, Jasmine has maintained her place on the Principal’s Honor Roll throughout her high school career. She is one of the 2021 recipients of the Columbia Urban League Young and Gifted Award, and is on the Leadership and Diversity Team here at Cardinal Newman.

For her signing, Jasmine will be accompanied by her family and her team.  We would like to congratulate Jasmine who is extremely excited for, and very deserving of, this opportunity to advance her education as well as her athletic career.
